We're a group of up and coming sports journalists with a shamelessly comical outlook on Football on a global scale. We cover everything in our Picks; the good, the bad and the divers. Our two sections are: Jared's Tarot: (Previews) This is where Jared January takes various facts from previous matches and his personal opinions and comes up with a prediction for his Picks. Matt's Picks (Reviews) This is where Matthew Williams uses the match facts at the end of the game and compares it to the preview, and talks about the "highlights and lowlights" of the game.

Matts Picks(MUFC VS HCFC)

Hello enthusiastic reader

Todays game seems like a doddle for the Manchester Team, but if you look deeper both teams have large incentives.

Today's Team sheet:

Manchester United vs Hull
Van der Sar vs Myhill
Rafael vs Zayatte
Evans vs McShane
Ferdinand vs Gardner
Evra vs Dawson
Nani vs Giovanni
Fletcher vs Boateng`
Scholes vs Garcia
Park vs Barmby
Rooney vs Hunt
Owen vs Fagan
Manchester's Incentive:

If you take a quick look at the log, you will see Manchesters incentive immediatly. With a win Manchester United will go top, two points ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea, although they would have played one and two more games respectively.

Hull's Incentive:

Hull's Manager, Phil Brown, is close to being sacked because of poor recent results. If Hull lose and Bolton win, they will be moved to the se
cond from bottom of the log. But if Hull wins, they will leapfrog Westham and Wolves, and move to 15th.

The Game:

First Half:
Manchester.Manchester.Manchester. All United. Complete and utter domination. There was a visible difference in class between the two teams. Champagne football was played. Flowing passes. Crystal touches. the cracks were starting in the 2nd minute. Paul scholes hit a crackerjack shot, but in form Keeper parried... straight to the predatorial Rooney, who finished it clinically.

The best play of the half was when Owen passed to Rooney, Rooney backheeled to Owen. Then, Owen one-two'd with Nani to get into space. Owen was one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but his shot was closer to a back pass than a shot.

Second Half:
Just after half time, Craig Fagan and Evans were challenging for the ball on the side of the pitch. Fagan slipped off the pitch and bounced the linesman of the pitch onto some steps, and then hit the floor. the unsuspecting linesman lay very still until he realised that he was unhurt, and then resumed the game.

The beginning of the second spell was very well contested. It was back and forth for the first 15 minutes before Manchester United resumed to take control of the game through control of possesion.

On 75 minutes, Gelas controls the ball in the air from a cross, shoots and... just misses!

76 minutes, Ferdinand hits Fagan in the face!!! woah, on his return from injury! Idiot!

82nd minute, Rooney effectively finishes the match with a power drive!!!

86th minute, Rooney scores his hatrick! Great cross finished with class.

94th minute, Berbatov supplies a low ball, and Rooney does the honours.

Man of the match:

Wayne Rooney

Scorer of 4 goals. It give me much displesure to say congrats because i dislike him so much.

Highly entertaining secind half..

Peace and Love...
Matt
